A perfect road trip into Los Angeles has a variety of things that visitors of all ages can enjoy. Upon arriving into Los Angeles I highly recommend that you stay at the SLS Hotel right in the heart of Los Angeles. This hotel will make your stay while on your road trip in Los Angeles a breeze.
Upon checking in and unpacking, walk down to the Bazaar restaurant for a small lunch. After lunch, walk up to The Beverly Center where you can enjoy 50+ different stores and boutiques. This mall will have you busy for a few hours to say the least. After an afternoon of shopping head back to the SLS to freshen up and get ready for a night out in Los Angeles.
Depending on what you're in the mood for, drive up to famous Sunset Strip for dinner and a chill night at one of the many lounges on the strip. Have a drink at One Sunset or maybe even Ketchup. The atmosphere at these places is superb and you're bound to meet some really interesting people.
Now the second day of your road trip into Los Angeles will start off with late breakfast, ordered by room service. Afterward head up to the rooftop pool where you're going to be surprised at the way this pool is decorated and furnished. Trust me you must check it out for yourself. After a morning spent by the pool, walk down La Cienega Blvd for lunch. There are so many cafes and even full course restaurants. Reservations aren't usually necessary so just take your pick and enjoy.
Now while visiting Los Angeles you must go to LACMA, Los Angeles County Museum of Art. You will find collections from all over the world. And their lighting display in the front will intrigue you. They're usually open until 8 so take your time and get lost in the different exhibits.
Afterward go ahead and explore the city any way you'd like. Maybe there is a specific restaurant you'd like to visit or a theatre you'd like to catch a movie at. Go ahead make your own plans. I do suggest that before you leave Los Angeles you visit Hollywood for a night out. There are so many famous nightclubs that you'll have to make another road trip to enjoy them all.
